A Chapter Plan is a curated list of chapters — for example, "Essential Christianity" or a tour through Psalms. When subscribed, Record steers you through the plan one whole chapter at a time, in order.
Subscribe to a plan
- Open Profile → Recordings → Chapter Plans.
- Choose a plan from the dropdown.
- Or go to Dashboard and tap Select Plan on an available plan card.
You can subscribe to one Chapter Plan at a time. Choose No plan (record freely) to unsubscribe.
While recording
- The plan name appears on the cassette (and in the desktop page title) when a plan is active.
- Record advances to the next uncompleted chapter/verse in the plan.
- If you manually pick a different passage, a banner appears: Manually Selected Passage. Tap Back to Plan to return to plan-driven navigation.
- If you're subscribed to both a Chapter Plan and a Passages Plan, the page title becomes a toggle so you can switch which one drives your next verse — see Toggling between a Chapter Plan and a Passages Plan.
Family completion
Plan progress is tracked at the family level — a chapter counts when every verse has been recorded by someone in the family, not necessarily by you alone.
