Lineage Bible now offers two kinds of recording plan. Both steer what Record asks you to read next; they differ in scope and who can create them.
| Chapter Plan | Passages Plan | |
|---|---|---|
| Unit | Whole chapters | Individual verses or verse ranges (e.g. "Romans 3:10-12") |
| Who can create one | Super admins only | Any signed-in user |
| Visibility | Public to everyone | Private to your family, or public to everyone — your choice |
| When it's streamable for listening | Only after every chapter is fully recorded | As soon as one verse in the plan has been recorded |
| Where to manage it | Profile → Recordings → Chapter Plans | Profile → Recordings → Passages Plans |
Naming note
"Chapter Plans" used to be called Recording Plans in this Help Center and in older parts of the app. Nothing about the feature changed — it was renamed once Passages Plans arrived, so the two are easy to tell apart.
Using both at once
You can be subscribed to one Chapter Plan and one Passages Plan at the same time. On Record, if both are active, the page title becomes a toggle so you choose which one is guiding your next verse — see Toggling between a Chapter Plan and a Passages Plan. On Listen, both show up together in the same plan picker — see Choosing a Chapter Plan or Passages Plan on Listen.
